ABOUT US

Loose Cannons is an originals Indie Rock band based in London. Our music ranges from dark melancholy to catchy upbeat. We channel 90s rock with a modern twist and sing about the complexity, nuances, pain and joy of life’s experiences.

OUR STORY

In mid-2023, Lucy (vocals, guitar) and Ken (lead guitar) met at a jam, and with a shared taste in music and love of puns, Loose Cannons was born. Lucy's vocal melodies and lyrics and Ken's multi-instrumental skills resulted in a burst of creative songwriting, and by early 2024 we were on the hunt for the rest of the band. We're now a 5-piece, with Olivier (bass), Olivia (keys and backing vocals) and Chris (drums) - and we all still go to the same jam!

We started gigging in May 2024, playing at lots of well-loved London venues including The Hope & Anchor in Islington, The Water Rats (review here), The Good Mixer, The Dublin Castle, Skehans, The Castle, and The Amersham Arms.

We spent 2025 recording our debut EP "Stick To Your Guns", which came out on 11th March 2026. We released two singles before the EP - "Never Be The Same Again", released on 15th January 2026, and "Writing On The Wall" which came out on 11th February 2026.
